WVLF Banquet Celebrates its 20th Anniversary!

An outstanding event….An outstanding cause!

Recognizing the need for research into the care of their animals, a small group of owners came together in 1987 and began an effort to raise funds to support researchers willing to learn more about these extraordinary camelids.

Beginning with a feed store fundraiser, this endeavor has developed into a reliable funding source for many ground breaking investigations by some of the pioneers in camelid research.

One evening each year llama and alpaca enthusiasts from around the Pacific NW and beyond come together for the sole purpose of raising funds to support camelid medical research at Oregon State University and the Morris Animal Foundation!   Your evening begins with a little wine and cheese tasting while previewing the llama and alpaca studs as they stroll through the lobby showing why they should become part of your breeding program.  Take a chance with a raffle ticket or try to be the final bidder on one of the fantastic silent auction items donated by our generous members and community partners!
